Hill Country Living : October 2012

My mommy and daddy celebrated their 9th Wedding Anniversary. They actually celebrated twice, once with me at Antonia's and then they also went to dinner without me at Perry's. Can you believe that my mommy didn't take a picture at either dinner?! I felt her head for a fever, but she felt just fine. She said next year for their 10th Anniversary they will do something big and pictures will be taken.

My daddy had a work convention in San Antonio last week and we went with him. Daddy stayed in a hotel downtown and I stayed with my mommy at my Mimi and Paw Paw's house. On Saturday we had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe.

This picture cracks me up!!! I look terrified, but I was actually laughing really hard at those silly monkeys!

This one is a little better, I promise I wasn't scared.

After my mommy was done working one day we decided to go to the zoo in San Antonio. The San Antonio zoo is much smaller than the Houston zoo and it is hilly. I'm glad that I got to sit back and relax in my stroller while my mommy and Mimi did the hard work. Oh and they don't have a giraffe!! I wore my giraffe outfit and brought along Sophie(my giraffe teether) because I wanted a picture with a giraffe.

My Mimi heard how much I like to swing so she bought me my very own swing for her house. It was so much fun. This was right after I woke up. I am still in my pajamas.

I also decided that I really like pacifiers, but only one type. This one is so cool because it has a dragon on it. Mommy is glad that I found a pacifier that I like because it helps me fall asleep on my own.

While we were in San Antonio, my mommy, Tia Rachel and Mimi made homemade ravioli. They made 3 different types: meat, cheese and butternut squash.

You know I love the color orange, so I'm really glad that my mommy used some of the leftover butternut squash to make my first baby food. She froze it so it is ready for me to eat when I turn 6 months! I can't wait to turn 6 months because it looks so yummy!

I got to ride my Mimi's horse, I mean her dog. His name is Barkley, he doesn't look amused in this picture. I think we will be really good friends when I'm a little older.

Until Next Time...

I had my first trip to the zoo and my Tia Rachel came with us. I thought for a moment it wasn't going to happen. My mommy had almost lost her patience with the parking, well actually she did lose it, but we had been looking for parking for almost 45 minutes!!!! We left the zoo area and were just going to find a nice park to have a picnic when we drove by a hospital and mommy decided to park in the hospital parking garage and walk over to the zoo! It was such a good idea, yes we had to pay, but the car stayed cool in the garage. Remember that little tip next time you are heading to the zoo!

Once we were finally in the zoo we had a blast and boy was I popular. I felt like I was the most popular attraction of the day. So many people stopped us to say how cute I am, talk about the fan on my stroller or to ask my mommy how she gets me to wear my sunglasses. Mommy puts them on me to protect my eyes, but I think they make me look so cool, that's why I wear them!!

My mommy took me to 2 different parks last week. If was my first time to swing at a park. I loved it. I like to swing really high, it kinda made my mommy nervous.
